About Miss Ward

Hello! My name is Miss Ward and I am so excited to be your third grade teacher this year! I have been a part of the Kennedy community for 8 years now! We are going to have a fun filled year of learning and new adventures! I cannot wait to start this journey with you!

Here is a little bit about me!

I live in Chicago. I used to live in Deerfield, Illinois with my mom and younger brother, Craig. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2011. I have my ESL endorsement and have just finished my Master's Degree in Reading from National-Louis University. I am thrilled to be back with the Kennedy Kubbies this year! When I am not teaching I love spending time with my friends, biking and indoor spinning, and baking lots of yummy things! I also love to travel, especially to visit my family in South Africa!
